Your private driver will pick you up directly from the cruise port of Livorno or for your private day tour to Florence and Pisa. If you wish to share the cost of a private excursion by joining a mixed group, a good suggestion is to go to “roll calls” on Cruise Critic and form your own group.

After 30 minutes, you will get to Pisa with free time to visit the famous Leaning Tower, the Baptistery and the Cathedral. Afterwards, you will enjoy the relaxing drive through the Tuscan countryside to Florence (about one hour). The first stop will be at Piazzale Michelangelo. Here, you could admire the most impressive views of the city from its beautiful terrace.
Once in Florence, you could see the Piazza Santa Croce with its pretty church, the impressive Piazza del Duomo (S. Maria del Fiore Cathedral, the Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell tower), Piazza della Signoria (Palazzo Vecchio), Piazza della Repubblica and the elegant Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge).
You will have free time to shopping around, visit a museum or simply enjoy the views over the river. For a deeper immersion into the Italian culture, you could hire a private guide for three hours in Florence, plus admission into one of the world-famous art galleries - either the Uffizi or Accademia.
